Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Refocus. They cover the Refocus iOS app, the website (refocus.co.in), and the product (dashboard.refocus.co.in) (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Refocus.

The service

Refocus is a focus room: you book a session, get paired with someone else who is there to work, and can join a live video call. The Service is free. There are no purchases or subscriptions in the app. If that changes, we will show the price and terms before you pay.

Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
You must give accurate account information and keep your sign-in secure.
You are responsible for activity on your account.
You can sign in with email, Google, or Sign in with Apple.

You can delete your account in the iOS app under Settings → Danger zone → Delete account, or in Settings on the website. You can also email hello@refocus.co.in from the address on the account. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Sessions, chat, and community posts are shared with other people. You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone.
Post illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
Impersonate another person or collect their information without consent.
Disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
Break the law or someone else's rights.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can block and report people in the product. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms. To report something you cannot flag in the product, email hello@refocus.co.in.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post, including messages and check-in notes. You give Refocus a limited license to host, display, and process that content only to operate the Service — for example, to show a message to the person you sent it to, or a check-in to your session partner.

iPhone and iPad

If you download Refocus from the Apple App Store, this section also applies. If it conflicts with the rest of these Terms, this section controls for that download.

These Terms are between you and Refocus only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
The app is licensed, not sold. The license is non-exclusive and non-transferable. You may use it on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Refocus is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Contact hello@refocus.co.in.
If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty is Refocus's responsibility.
Refocus, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar law.
Refocus, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must also comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, including your wireless-data agreement.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. After you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

Service availability

Refocus is provided as is and as available. Features can change, and the Service can be interrupted. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Third-party services

Live video, sign-in, email, and analytics are provided by other companies. Their terms can apply when you use those features. The Privacy Policy lists them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refocus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using Refocus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or misuse the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above is the current version. If you keep using Refocus after an update, you accept the new Terms.
